Safety & community rules

CrewClaim is designed as a consent-based game. These rules are enforced in code where we can and by community reporting everywhere else.

Consent is the whole game

You can only tag another player if both of you are registered, have joined the same active match, and are physically inside an approved play zone. Tags are performed by scanning the target's rotating in-app QR badge — never their face.

Where you can't play

These location types are permanently off-limits and cannot be added as zones: schools, hospitals, private homes, shelters, courts, police stations, places of worship, and any private property.

What you can't do

  • Photograph or record people who are not registered players in the same match.
  • Chase, physically block, or trespass on anyone or any property.
  • Play while driving.
  • Use gang names, real-world weapons imagery, or threatening language.

Youth-safe mode

Anyone under 18 is placed into youth-safe mode automatically and cannot turn it off. Youth-safe players only see, join, and are matched with youth-safe crews and events. Adult players are hidden from youth games entirely.

Photos and privacy

Photos taken for mission check-ins are private by default. Face-blur is on by default. Nothing is shared publicly unless both people involved consent.

Reports and enforcement

Every player card has a report button. Reports are reviewed by moderators. Confirmed abuse leads to bans. If you feel unsafe, leave the zone and report immediately.
